Effects of handrim technology on upper extremity musculoskeletal injury

You may be eligible to participate if…

 

ü                 You use a manual wheelchair as your primary means of mobility

ü                 Are between the ages of 18 and 65

ü                 Have a spinal cord injury below T1 that occurred after the age of 18 and at least one year prior to enrolling in the study

 

 

You are being asked to participate in a research study that will be investigating the differences between different pushrim technologies (standard and ergonomic).  The results of this study will be used to help manual wheelchair users choose between different types of pushrims as well as help clinicians to identify which pushrims are more appropriate for their clients.  Participation in this study is expected to take a total of 5 hours.    Participants who complete the study will be reimbursed $100.00.
